The flying rods are odd, worm-like insects that fly through the air at fast rates. These cryptids have only made an appearance once in Cartoon Network Action Pack #40: Meal worms.
Their larva can not fly and spend most of their lives in caves. Their only natural predator is the atmospheric Jellyfish. These odd insects have seen throughout the entire world. They can move at disturbingly fast rates. The only way to view these creatures is with a high-powered video camera. Most of these cryptids spend their days in deep, water dripping caves. They would only have a diet of possibly fruits and vegetables. The rods may also be insectivores.
