The Shamir (Hebrew: שמיר‎) is a cryptid that made its first appearance in Once More the Nightmare Factory and later appeared in "The Secret Saturdays: Beasts of the 5th Sun."

Biography

The Shamir is a worm, or a substance, that had the power to cut through or disintegrate stone, iron, and diamond.

It was used by King Solomon in the building of the First Temple in Jerusalem in the place of cutting tools. For the building of the Temple, which promotes peace, it was inappropriate to use tools that could also cause war and bloodshed.

In the video game The Secret Saturdays Beasts of the 5th Sun in the final level, Weird World, they remade any stone blocks destroyed by a variety of things throughout the level, mostly traps and other cryptids, and attempted to encase Zak in stone more often than not.

Series

Once More the Nightmare Factory.

V.V. Argost uses their ability to manipulate stone, glass, wood, and metal to repair any damage to his home Weird World. He also used them to encase Zon in stone.
