About

P 44

The Raicho is a gigantic bird that appeared in Cartoon Network Action Pack #34:The Storm That Shook Japan.

The Raicho is a cryptid that is said to live in pine trees on Mt. Tate. It's name literally translated means "lightning-thunder-bird." Due to its size, the friction of the bird's wings while in flight cause the air particles around it to become highly charged and can create an enormous storm cloud around it. Raichos are very protective of the area around their nests. They are said to able to make a loud bellow that can mimic the sounds of thunder.
