- "You have no idea how nice it is not to have to pretend to care about you anymore! Buh-bye."
- ―Drew Monday to Zak Saturday in Black Monday
Drew Monday is an evil doppelganger of Drew Saturday and the mother of Zak Monday. Her first appearance is in Black Monday.
Appearance
Drew is a young woman of average height and a slender, pear-shape build, with long, pale blonde (almost white) hair fair skin. She has a prehensile tongue that looks to be about as long, or longer, than the length of her body.
Her usual attire consists of a full-length black bodysuit worn underneath an orange vest that reaches down to her mid-thighs, orange elbow-length gloves, black boots, and an orange utility belt.
Personality
Drew is very scientific, not prone to the supernatural or magic. She's also not very in touch with softer emotions, as not once does she show any fondness for her "family," including her husband and son. She has no hesitation in shooting Zak Monday with a Cortex Disruptor and, more broadly, no qualms in hurting a child.
She can hold a grudge but, while she is generally vengeful, Drew prioritizes who she wants revenge on more. She considers betrayal worse than being wronged by people that she distrusted from the start.
In this way, Drew isn't as cruel as her son, Zak Monday. She knows exactly what she is doing, plans ahead, and doesn't seek to justify her behavior on any moral grounds.
She's very prideful, getting easily upset when Zak Saturday "insults" her intelligence by complimenting her quick thinking.
Biography
In her first appearance episode, Black Monday, Drew Monday takes the place of her counterpart, Drew Saturday, in Zak Monday's life. She does this because, although she possesses the Smoke Mirror of Tezcatlipoca, Drew has no idea where her alternate self went. For this reason, she keeps Zak Saturday around as bait, figuring that he'll either realize that she isn't his mother and find Drew Saturday for them, or that Drew S. will come for her family.
She bandages the injuries that Zak S. received when the Aztec temple they were in collapsed and bandages the rest of the Monday family in order to hide their physical differences from the Saturdays. Despite Zak Saturday's questioning and worry for his family, Drew puts him to bed, still pretending to be his mom.
After Zak M. and Zak S. end up fighting on the airship, Drew M. appears at the end of it to knock Zak M. out before he can tell Zak S. that Drew isn't really his mother. She claims that she was "just keeping [her] baby safe," and kisses Zak S. on the cheek before ruffling his hair, but the doubt about her identity has been planted.
Drew M. only reinforces Zak S.'s uncertainty when she makes him hot chocolate in an attempt to calm him down. After she explains why the universe comes apart when matter and anti-matter get close, Drew snaps at Zak over something innocent that he side. She tries to brush it off, but he leaves, no longer trusting her identity.
Later, Drew M. arrives in the airship's medical bay to give Doc M. is medicine. Zak realizes that she isn't who she said she is and attacks her, knocking Drew over long enough for himself and the rest of his "family" to get away. Of course, Drew follows him, and they end up wandering the nearby ancient ruins in an attempt to avoid/find each other.
When Drew M. finds Zak S., she attempts to convince him that she's his real mom, showing him the Smoke Mirror and explaining that both versions of themselves have to be nearby for it to work. Drew S. then arrives and shoots Drew M. with her fire sword. Zak checks on Drew M., who again insists that she's the "real" Drew and that they need to send the other one through the Mirror.
Zak tries to prevent them from attacking each other, but a frustrated Drew S. takes his Claw and launches the grapple at Dew M.'s face. She reflexively grabs it with her tongue, outing herself as the fake by mistake.
Once Zak M. arrives, the rest of the family that Zak had escaped with reveals themselves to be the doubles as well. Together, they corner Drew and Zak Saturday and prepare to send them all through the Mirror.
Unfortunately, Zak S. manages to escape and frees the rest of his family. Drew M. fights herself, but takes the first opportunity to grab the Mirror and attempts to use it on Zak. She's knocked over at the last second by Doc Saturday, and the Mirror ends up with Zak Monday, who Drew grabs it from. When accused by Zak M. of planning to betray them, she points out that he was the one who exposed her to Zak S. first. This starts a fight, where the two of them struggle over ownership of the Mirror.
When Zak Monday ends up winning, he immediately tries to send the rest of his family back to the Shadow World. He ends up getting sucked in too, although he and Komodo Monday end up escaping again by the end of the episode. Drew Monday doesn't and is stuck in the Shadow World with the remaining members of her "family."
By Paris is Melting, Drew Monday is still in the Shadow World. She mentions having waited to get revenge on Zak Saturday and his family for "a long time." However, when Zak S. offers to help her get revenge on Zak and Komodo Monday in exchange for helping him, Drew accepts. She allows Zak to fly their sabotaged airship through the Smoke Mirror.
When the airship crashes back into the Shadow World, with Zak and Komodo Monday both aboard, Drew leers at them, saying "That's my boy." It's safe to assume that her revenge on them both was brutal and cruel.

Trivia
- She has quite a fondness for hot chocolate.
- It's possible that she has a doctorate as well, like Drew Saturday, hinted at when she defensively calls herself a "scientist" while talking to Zak Saturday.
